The review scores are the thing I care least about in Edge.
Is Motorstorm actually that good? It looks like a kinda nice looking racing game whose visuals will be soon be old and eclipsed by the next racer of the moment 6 months from now. Other than that, it's got bouncy physics and Burnout style car crashes. Maybe it's just me though, I haven't played it outside a kiosk.
All their other scores look right, though.
Let's start the arguing early- Burnout Dominator is no more than a 4. The entire game is built around boost chaining, the boost chain doesn't work reliably, therefore the entire game is broken. Too bad, really, it could have been at least the 7 they gave it otherwise.

Wow, they gave Motorstorm an 8 but game God of War 2 a 7?
There's a lot of speculation that Sony's PS3 division has been providing a steady stream of hookers & blow to the Edge offices.

I haven't played enough to say definitively, but what I have played hasn't made me want to play more. I honestly think it's even pretty dull looking unless you're in bumper cam and there's a mess of cars in front of you. When you're driving alone, it's kinda dull.Quote:

Also no way Motorstorm should be rated that highly. I <3 racing games but there is just not enough content in the game, never mind how well the game plays. Giving that game the same rating as VF5 and Trackmania Unlmiited? WTF?
