Toys "R" Us has dropped the price of both PSP packages. The system pack is now $169.99, and the Entertainment Pack is now $219.99.
I am assuming this is a sign that the MSRP is about to be dropped, which will certainly mark more competition for the DS and may also mark the inevitable PSpee redesign.

Oh, was it? I had only seen it at TRU. I guess the ? can be removed.
Also, Syphon Filter and Daxter became Greatest Hits titles and are now $19.99.
Still too expensive for a PQP.
The most overpriced system on the market right now is the DS. An N64 shouldn't be $130, no matter how many screens it has. The Wii is stiff competition though.

I really wish they would have used this drop to introduce the white unit in the US. Why does SCEA always stiff us on hardware colors, do they not think the US populace is a grossly consumeristic lot? Because they should really fire their market research team immediately if so.
