We stopped using "Ye", putting an E at the end of "old" and giving words in English gender years ago. language evolves, the correct spelling is "COLOR"

Why do people get so defensive about spellings? Is it that hard to accept words having regional variations and multiple spellings. Color/colour, grey/gray, judgement/judgment, cheque/check, civilization/civilisation etc. are all correct somewhere.

That said, anyone spelling night as "nite" is inbred.
