The story is a few weeks old, but it's interesting non the less.
I think this an excellent way to get their message across, and I'm surprised they did not think of this sooner.
Hell, if they had propaganda games back during the early 90's my views on joining the service might be differnt than they are now.

In all seriousness though, that's not a bad idea. An interesting way of showing the everyday American what field exercises are like, I suppose. I somehow doubt it's going to encourage more people to enlist, but that's me and my stupid opinion.
Although keep in mind, now its not resorting to graphic violence during the recruitment phase, but when the Army wants to desensitize their soldiers to the violence on the field, thats when American Army 2: Pop Some Heads will enter the stage. :D
I thought they where just beefing up security at the LA Convention Center and that is why the Army was there... ;)

I hered the game is supposed to be cool.. cuase it runs off the UT3.. engine..
Being prior service, I have mixed emotions about the military. I support them and all, but can't really get excited about it.
If the AF makes a game, however, I will have to laugh out loud.
Now this is one game I wouldn't want to be the best at ;)
best part about this game is that its gonna be free.
