This game is a riot. Just good fun all around. I only finished up the Brotherhood missions and have yet to start the Ronin and Samedi ones. I'm just doing all the activities for all the bonuses. For those that haven't I suggest doing the Insurance Fraud activities first for the sprint bonus. The only activity I didn't like was the Trail Blazing activity because of the feel of that atv vehicle and how you just stop if you even touch a little rock. It was still pretty easy but there were a few annoyances with it. ...and thank god for mission checkpoints.
I finished this game up earlier today and this should have had a ton more to do with the first game. At least you get to kill Julius if you do the secret mission. Other than that, the game was a ton of fun.
Picked this up. It's pretty awesome so far but I wish the walk you chose also affected the way you run, since I almost never see the former. The cars and shooting feel a little weird after GTA4, the driving is so much faster it was like I was in a cartoon and my shots were going all over the place at first. The customization is pretty good and I like how the guy actually talks in this one, and of course having checkpoints and upgrades through missions is so fantastic. No, scheme B works fine just like it did in the first game. Face buttons for driving are only for controllers with shitty triggers.
Did they change it from the first game? The shooting is just like a first/third-person shooter in the first game (i.e., move the reticule over the target and pull the trigger), so I don't see how that would feel weird, even after playing Grand Theft Auto IV.
I just stuck with the default controls so I don't know how scheme B works.Quote:

No, they didn't change it, but I got used to having both free-aim and lock-on to use at the same time. It was pretty nice and going back to pure free-aim meant that I was sliding the reticule past people expecting it to snap onto them, and instead of getting instant headshots like I was used to I'd start mowing down random objects in the background.Standard driving controls with shoot on LB.Quote:

So I go up to the top of a penthouse, climp up to the heliport, and since I'm about to quit, I figure I'll end the session with a running leap. In mid-death fall, I get "Hit Y to activate your parachute.". I had no clue it was even available. So awesome.
I don't know that it warrants its own thread but check this out: http://www.gameinformer.com/NR/exere...4DB88EC741.htm
Saint's Row for the PSP. Nice!
