Konamix was my first taste of DDR so I can't really compare it to others in the series, but it's decent. Many, many songs to choose from, with many more to unlock (too bad there's only a couple worth listening to). Plenty of modes to mess around with, too.
I was pretty jazzed to try out DDR and after 5 minutes on those mats, I was hurting. Doing the knee-drop just about killed me...
Forget about kneedrops. They're played out and most of times make you look like a retard. Forget any planned moves (handstands, knee drops, bar jumps) and work on your natural style. Practice how your feet slide, your arm movement, and thing like that. Make it look like your actually dancing. The best routines are not filled with lame gimmicks, they're the ones where the people move smoothly and have fun. Just my opinion.Quote:

Konamix is an ok mix. Not as good as any of the imports, but still good for a domestic release.
Konamix is more than worth it. I had DDR USA, 4th mix, 5th mix, and Extra mix and there was still enough new material in Konamix for me. Plus it's cheap. Trust me, you won't be mastering all of the songs any time soon, 'cause there's a ton of them. It gets the Chibi Nappa seal of approval. :D
