What If?
That actually happened in the Avengers comic, but I still don't understand how the fuck it happened.
I flipped through that particular issue, and I really don't recall "Venom" and Wolverine being anywhere near each other. Now in the most recent Venom series, the symbiote did possess Wolverine for a bit. They also fought in a six issue arc in Marvel Comics Presents back in '93.
The Venom symbiote possessed Punisher in a What If comic.
It wasn't Venom, persay, but a storm of symbiotes raining from the sky possessing anyone they touched.
