Seems like the logical progression in such a stranger phobic society. Here when people get side of the dance clubs and shit like that we goto galleries, country clubs and hole in the wall places where your friends congregate, when that gets old, people join country clubs or host shit in their homes.
me and a friend were discussing this progression just last night. Once you've broken free of your parents and school you want to join the greater bit of society and meet people. Eventually you get sick of the club kiddies and graduate to more exclusive, intimate or quieter locales to where you have something in common with the people other than being young and horny.
