I definetly think Wii is the way to play this game. I'm about an hour into it and am enjoying it much more than I did on consoles. The only thing is that occasionally the aiming isn't as spot on as I'd hope (ie. you have a headshot lined up and in the moment of pressing shoot the controller moves a slight bit and you waste some ammo). Besides that, best version I've played thus far.

I had only briefly played RE4 previously and really hadn't been too impressed with it. I didn't like the zerg rush at the village right near the start, and I hated the dynamite throwing guys. It was like they made an action game but forgot to give Leon basics like mobility, a strafe, or some kind of roll/dodge move. People are throwing shit at you left and right and you can barely clunk around... it was just annoying.
This game doesn't fix any of that, but you can aim and shoot super fast and be all like oh my bad there go your legs, or shoot the dynamite in the dude's hand, etc. Positional damage is the best thing ever and any shooting game that doesn't use it is trash.
Anyway, I like the Wii version better.
The game's way too long, though.
Too long!? I wish the game was longer. Especially since the last part of the game was so fucking awesome.

I beat it the other day, now I'm almost done with the Ada side story mode. Plus I'm going through the game again on professional. Ada's hookshot is pretty neat, I just wish you could use it more or as a weapon. It's also neat to see how her and leon's stories overlap.
Any word on what new unlockables are there?
