That dead tire I had? Definitely turned into a dead tire, plus a dead starter, and the need to pay for a tow truck in a largely towing-inaccessible location. I don't know what the hell to do. If I don't get my car back home 2 hours away in the next 2 weeks, my tags are going to be invalid, because NE Ohio can fuck itself and requires e-check.

Eh, I've gone a good 3 or 4 months driving with expired tags before.
Just be smart about where you drive and you'll be alright.

Up until a few days ago I'd been driving with an expired out-of-state tag and no insurance for about a year.

Seriously, to all those who drive in metropolitan areas - try to maintain at least 20 MPH in the congestion - please.
There's no excuse for traffic to come to a complete stop and stay at a stand-still for more than 20-30 seconds when there's no accidents on the highway, there just isn't.
That speed should be slow enough for all the pussies who can't drive their car to feel safe and allow the rest of us to get to where we need to go in a reasonable amount of time.
You might want to try riding a bike. Or walking.

when i visit Pittsburgh i laugh at shit like this. they have a 2-lane highway going thru a tunnel (Liberty Tunnel i believe). no accidents......no turns. yet when people go in the tunnel they slow to a stop as if there's the apocalypse going on. IT'S A STRAIGHT FUCKING SHOT PEOPLE! it was backed up for 7 miles one time and i thought for sure there was construction or people dying. traffic opened right up after the tunnel. it amazed me.Quote:
