It's a mock-up for pre-orders that was put up in May 2006 for GTHD - which, as you might recall, was not only long before the demo was released but has also since had the full version cancelled. I saw that picture as well when I took a quick look for screenshots but I actually bothered to look at what I was doing (and it didn't hurt that I've actually played GTHD and so knew that screen wasn't from it).

So try again.

But all the same I grew sick of GT midway through 2. If they would actually add realtime damage to the cars I might be interested, but I doubt that will happen.

All I'm telling you is that the demo I played yesterday at Best Buy did not look like the image you posted.

but the game does look that good. Ive played on Kiosk PS3s and i dont think ive ever seen GTHD on them. Either way, GTHD does NOT look like that screenshot you posted.

GTHD and GT5 are two different things. GTHD is GT4 with high def tweaks.

I have, at the Circuit City near me. It was actually the first time I played it, and my first impression was "damn, this looks good". Just because the kiosk PBMax played it on was shitty, doesn't mean that the game looks shitty. I'm actually tempted to hook my PS3 upto an SDTV just to confirm that GTHD even looks sexy not in HD.
