Yes i would know first hand. Born and raised in South Central during the mid 80's 90's. When every single color was a hood. I remember when the only color you could wear without getting banged on was black. Shit even clothing lines. Walk into a blood hood wearing K-Swiss (Killing Slobs When I See Some) or in a crip hood wearing Nike (Nigga I Kill Ericet) could get you killed.

The street hoods are the most common. but there are others that dont follow the usual pattern.

The Brims,Pyru,Bloodstone,Booyah tribe,Grape Street,Tortilla Flats.
It varies.depending on where your at. King and Rodeo (The Jungles) are pretty much run by Bloodstone Pyru.
