I'm really wondering what kind of look they're going to give Jason in this new movie. I doubt they'll be going with how he looked in parts 6 or 7 (it would rule if they did), but they went with a pt. 4 kind look I could hang with that.
The guy that made my hockey mask might just be tapped to create the mask for the new film. Here's an early version of the look he's going to go with:

He's working on a revision now that will have a little less scuffing, but that's it overall. He's shown it to the writers, and they loved it.
Also, I dug up this old piece of artwork. This is a look for Jason that wouldn't be too bad for this.

Who's the guy you're talking about that's making the mask?
Gene Mazza, goes by Dedkid. He had a company that made masks, even had one of the original molds for the JGTH mask. I don't think he does it anymore, but he predates the Frightstuff guys by years.

Nice, but like you said, it's about on par with the Sideshow doll, with maybe a bit more detail and better proportion on the body. A quick glance and most people would probably think it IS the Sideshow doll. It's odd that they bothered.Quote:
