1) I lost all of my friends, the top kids at school and my peers/rivals and had to learn how to socialize all over again, and I learned that I didn't have to be some stuck-up elitist smartfuckwad
2) Because the state of Illinois is fucking retarded, my entire 9th grade was spent retreading everything I learned in 8th.
That was the end of that, I no longer had any enthusiasm for school, and when we moved back here because of 9th grade I was no longer on the super-accelerated path. I still have problems with school, because I learned I can be super successful without even really attending. It's why I haven't graduated from college yet, I have taken too many breaks to pursue other interesting things.
However at this point in my life my big problem is that I find too many things interesting, and I can't focus on specializing in an area that will be giving me a career.
