I am totally smarter than Josh, but nowhere near as "Josh" as he is. And that is really all that matters.

Also of note: Guess what being uber-smart gets you in the real world? Nothing.

The 9 year old should join TNL. If we could strip him of his motivation he would fit right in. He shows all the signs of being a potentially good TNL member, he even says he wants to "play".

By your numbers I think I am both, but yeah, there are a lot of dumb people with much more motivation than me. Most of those people rule the world, then proceed to make silly decisions.

Here is the real question: what is TNL doing as a community doing to recruit smart people and strip them of their motivation? Not nearly enough.

The real question is who is the stupidest person on these boards. It's not me, shitheads. I mean, if we have Mensa quality posters, then we have to people who are developmentally challenged, right?

motivation is key.

My lack of it plays a key part in me not being as smart as I was ten years ago. I lack motivation, focus and time management skills. I might even have minor issues with depression (says other people. F them though).

Smarts don't matter when all you want to do is sleep and do dumb shit.

Last time I was tested for IQ I believe I was around 145-150. I consider myself a pretty intelligent person but I never thought to use it until I got older. I wouldn't be suprised if many others on the board are in that range or close to it.

I'm pretty sure IQ measures capacity to learn, not knowledge. If have a great ability to retain information and do not exercise it, you are still average joe.
