She doesn't do it. It happens automatically. Her special ability is always on -- it's a plague that kills everyone around here. The only reason the disease doesn't kill everyone is because her brother's power is to neutralize it. That's why he kept shouting YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! to the mexican hombre's who wanted to rape her.

It was in a comic the secretary at my work showed me (she loves this show hardcore, she's really cute too which is an odd combo).

It could be that the really evil guy the little girl is having dreams about IS one of the original 9 that he mentioned. Remember how Sylar's corpse was dragged in to the sewer after the altercation? Yeah, I'm willing to bet this guy is using Sylar to do his dirty work.

That sounds completely plausable. Only thing is in the season finale, wouldn't Molly Walker know that super evil season 2 man was right below them esp. considering how much this dude is/was tormenting her?

I think you guys may be right or near to it. Part of the mystery of this season is what happened between this first episode and the last one (the whole 4 months ago thing).

The real question this season is: How does HRG afford that new house when he works at a fucking Kinko's?
