Suckage confirmed. I had no problem with the camera at all. Finished the game in a week or so, one of the best action game ever.
Razor is 100% correct in his original statement on this one. Irregardless of the "hardcore" status that any game has, a fault is a fault, and NG's camera is a glaring one. Most people just forced themselves to adapt to the shit camera, but in reality we should never have had to.
I hated NG's camera even more than the original DMC's camera. The NG camera was "smart" enough to resist manual positioning and too stupid to ever give a really good view of the action. The DMC camera seemed to alternate between great viewpoints and terrible ones, but the lock-on helped mitigate things.
Not that NG is a bad game. It just has several glaring flaws.
