I like rosemary, but my fave herb is Thyme.
I haven't used thyme very much, now that I think about it; mostly rosemary, basil, chives, and mint. I was considering getting some dill today, but once my seedlings grow I'm already going to have a full window. I have a nice sized porch, 8 x 20 ft I think, but it's in full shade, so it's practically useless for growing plants.
Thyme is my secret weapon when making tomato sauce. I don't put any other herbs in it.
one coffee bean is mine.
So tonight after work I'm roasting a chicken. I started brining it an hour or so ago. Usually, I just stuff some rosemary, garlic, and butter under the skin/in the cavity. Does TNL have any other suggestions?
Hmmm ... I think you have it all covered actually.
I actually squeezed some into the brine, but I figured that it was so diluted that it didn't matter. I'll definitely add that at the end for maximum damage (aka results).
Tried making some curry today, and the chicken and spices came out fine, but it was really dry. Almost no saucy stuff :( It was my grandma's recipe and I figure she just likes it that way. Anyway have a decent chicken curry recipe that is a bit more traditional without being horribly spicy?
