The red EVA figure is pretty awesome.

What's the point of that? The Needler is either an insane fucking power weapon that kills overshields just as fast as guys that have no shields, or, well, the Needler.

As a single weapon, you don't have to worry about division of ammo between the two guns, dropping one to use a melee attack, and quicker switching between your weapon set because you can't switch between duals, your other weapon, and back to duals. Having it as a single gun makes more sense this way. It's more practical.

Oh definitely, I'm just saying that dumping half a Needler clip into a guy will either do no damage or kill a guy outright. The melee won't kill him unless he was already weak.

Anyone up for some casual games?

Looks like they finally fixed bungie.net. Our win streak in team slayer was a little short of our estimates, only 60 straight.

I'll have to give the Needler a try again since I've been avoiding it in Halo 3 from my Halo 2 PC runs.

I like the look of the McFarlane figures and if they hold true to being more action figure and less cheap statue, I'll be buying many.
