THQ and Sega announced today the release of <B>The Pinball of the Dead</b> for GameBoy Advance. Inspired by Sega's popular House of the Dead franchise, <I>The Pinball of the Dead</i> challenges players to shoot, tilt, and flip their way across three challenging boards in order to rescue citizens and destroy zombies. Developed by Sega's WOW Entertainment, <i>The Pinball of the Dead</i> is the latest title in THQ's exclusive GameBoy Advance co-publishing agreement with Sega.

I'm only hoping that this game is at least as good as Dragon's crush on the genesis since it's been forever that I've ever had a good pinball game to play.

i picked it up..the person who runs a local mom and pop store owed me money for something i helped him buy on ebay so i just chose pinball of the dead as the payment..

the game is pretty good. theres only 3 boards but each board has 3 separate sections. i notice a few lag/slowdowns in the game. the graphics are great looking and the sound is marvelous. before you start to play the actual pinball game..there is a little crosshair that moves around and you have 1 shot to kill either a zombie or a human, if you miss, you get no bonus (chosen randomly i guess). if you hit them, you get a bonus, whether it be more points, boss unlocked automatically, unlimited kickbacks (things on the side that bounces the ball back), etc.

you can change to color of the blood (red, green and white i think). the boss level is nice but kinda cheesy in my opinion. it looks nice and all but its too simple. the boss floats around the board..and all you have is the ball, 2 flippers, a little hole (which you get points) but than spits it out and walls. you can beat the boss in 30-60 secs. there are different boss's from the HotD series but i can only get up to 2 boss's (the damn thing keeps going to either the side or down the middle)

there is a password save, which i do not like at all. but thats all i can say until i play with it more
