While watching a friend play MGS2 and he got to the part where raiden is naked, I suggested he try to fight and cartwheel. When cartwheeling, he paused it when Raiden is upside down.
This is incredibly stupid, but in rpgs, when I know I should go back to town and heal, I continually try to see how many more enemies I can kill and survive til its actually impossible to beat anymore. You pretty much know how it ends and my reaction.
In action games or beat em ups, I come up ridiculous challenges when I'm bored like how many stages I can pass using the same move over and over. Worst one was when i challenged myself to finish Ninja Gaiden 1 without dying. Amazingly I actually did it.
Most of the time in fighting games, if the last boss is cheap, I'll hit him once and keep away til the time runs out. My friends say its cheap and that I didn't really beat him. I say fuck that, we are still watching the ending aren't we?
When I was a kid I used to plug the Nintendo zapper in, turn it on to the select screen and run around the living room firing it to the shot noise from the TV.
Playing shooters when completely intoxicated is a very interesting experience, definitely take more risks...
