Worst. Story. Ever.

The other day a friend of mine purchased a copy of Shaq-Fu for the miniscule sum of 99 cents and we were taking turns playing through the story mode when it dawned on me: This has got to be the worst story ever in a video game

Who in their right mind would ever believe that Shaq would be overseas in Japan killing some time before going to play a charity basketball game when he wanders into a mysterious dojo and some crusty old man tells him that he is the chosen one who must jump through a mystical portal conveniently stored in the back of the dojo and save a little boy from an evil mummy named Set Ra and his allmighty legion of evil dooers consisting of an agile Cat Woman, a Demonic Hellbeast, an enchanted Voodo Woman, a deadly Swordsman, and a Magician with a keen resemblance to The Emperor of Star Wars fame.

But enough rambling, I want to hear what some other people think is the worst story ever in the storied history of video gaming.

At least it has a better story than MGS2 :p

I believe that epic side-scrolling adventure was called Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City and the story involved some scientists who got kidnapped and Jordan had to save them by throwing powered up basketballs at some evil dudes.......something like that. Im gonna go check an old issue of Nintendo Power to find the truth

Ok I found the right issue and here's what it says

The storyline is pretty hokey. Mike shows up to practice for a charity all-star basketball game and discovers that his teamates have disappeared (perhaps they've gone to do their own video game endorsements?). He finds out that Dr. Max Cranium has kidnapped the team and hidden them in various areas around Chicago. It's up to Master Mike to step in and lobotomize Dr. Cranium (so corny :lol: ). Each team member has clues and hints for Mike, so he goes through haunted houses, the el train, a mad scientist's lab, and more to find his friends. Dr. Cranium also has fans for Mike to meet, including zombies with basketballs for heads, steroid enhanced point guards, bats, and mech spiders. At the end of each stage, the good doctor throws a boss at you.

All I can say is sign me up! Im ready to save the world!

The ending is even worse.

Yes I've playedf through Shaq Fu.

On multiple occasions.

No one has more of a right to claim it sucks than I do.

Him running around in the overworld is one of the funnist damn animations I've ever seen.

At least the music wasn't too bad.

And you guys were saying that WWE: Crush Hour was the worst idea for a game ever...
