I tried the demo the other day and the graphics didnt wow, nor did the gameplay. It felt like the US version of Auto Modellista all over again (in terms of horrible handling).

looks great on the pc. the drone ai and instant spin out when touched turned me off instantly. lets put 25 cars all together in a small starting space or narrow track. lets make your car weigh an ounce. now lets make the other cars OBLIVIOUS to your existance and run into you, thus causing a spinout/crash.
The AI is lame. And I wish I wasn't randomly started near the back every damn time because it is hard to pass on the harder difficulties. But it is one intense game. Crank up the difficulty, turn off rewinding and lock yourself into the dashboard view and it's incredible.
Even with the 'eh' physics and frustrating AI, it's currently my GOTY but there really isn't a lot of competition
I'm pretty sure the AI is actually ramming people on purpose. I noticed that it does everything in its power to avoid tapping you in touge events. Meanwhile, in other events, you get shit like this:
damn Ravenwest
yeah...what am I supposed to pick? GTA4 is pretty good, SIE is pretty good....I don't even remember what's been out this year
NG2, Lost Odyssey...nah, GRID is better than both
LO was much better then what i have experienced of GRID, and "eh physics and frustrating AI" are reason enough to call it a bad racer. The fact that its ramming you on purpose = lol.
From the demo i played, the physics are much worse then eh.
