How would that even work? Where would the games physically go?
before TV out on the slims id hope theyd make use of that USB plug and have it stream to the ps3 to your big screen.
i still kinda hope for it :x, some nice upconversion.
They could make a plug-in UMD drive, kinda like the good old Super Gameboy. I was actually hoping for just that, before the Slim. Hell, I'd still like it, since the Slim still doesn't let you plug in a PS2/3 controller.
Fuck, just let me plug my PSP into a PS3 and let it emulate whatever is in the PSP's UMD drive. I'd be surprised if they couldn't pull that off.
And I guess that way they wouldn't eat into their PSP sales or whatever horseshit.
I guess that's a good idea, but since the new PSPs allow you to connect to your TV, what motivation do they have to do that kind of update?
Theoretically, PS3 could upscale and maybe let you play with the PS3 controller (wireless + not as shit analog). I'd appreciate it, 'cause PSP slim only outputs a 480p signal and only through component--I'm still in the superior dark ages and my TV doesn't do progressive scan, so it just doesn't work at all for me. It's also silly that something that should be so quick to plug and play is incompatible with 95% of TVs' front inputs.
I don't expect PSP games on PS3 to happen, though. But then I didn't expect the ability to turn on your PS3 through your PSP over the Internet either, so who knows what kooky things Sony'll do.
Yes, it's deplorable how so few of the downloadable games on PSN have demos available. Funny thing is, for the first three months they all had demos, but after flOw and Q*Bert came out in February without demos, only about 20% (my estimate) of subsequent PSN downloadable game releases have had demos. They even yanked a demo that was previously available (GripShift). I just can't figure out the logic here.
