Tales of Vesperia

I'll buy it for sure. So pretty.

I hope this hits budget soon because I'd like to check it out for the graphics. Those screenshots are really pretty.

"Tales of" is synonymous with "Rockman" to me. I ironically enough got about 20 hours into Phantasia (PS on PSP) and the emulator cocked it up. :(

Did they announce a release date yet? I knew nothing about this and now I want to play it.

2008. I'm assuming Fall. Here's hoping there'll be a demo. They released one for Eternal Sonata, so maybe they'll do the same for this.

RPG demos are never good indicators of a game's quality. I don't know why they bother.

EDIT: Except the Panzer Dragoon Saga demo that had the whole first disc

That does sound like a sweet demo. RPG demos should start at the very beginning, with saving enabled like the Lunar demo.

The problem (well, my problem) w/ most RPGs is that they're long as balls. They should tell you somewhere that you can finish it in 20 hours if you cut the bullshit. Of course, they would lose sales to people that actually like 50 hour games.

Tales games definitely skew shorter than most. Tales of Symphonia was a good 39 hours, but I beat Phantasia in 25, Destiny in 23, and Eternia in 28.
