Why would he know better than Obama what Obama's plan is? It's pretty clear and it hasn't changed. Turn off Hannity and think for a minute.

Yeah, didn't Richardson LOSE the nomination? Yes he did.
In any event, the reality is that our economy needs more taxes, not less. There isn't enough money going into our government to pay for two wars and to enable Wall Street to keep up its crappy business practices. But it's suicide to say you have to raise taxes or ask for sacrifices. So basically they have to both lie about it to people who really think it will make a difference, and therefore doesn't matter in the long run.
Anyone who gets far enough to run for President probably hasn't been an angel his whole life, so basically I think it ultimately boils down to intangibles, God-given gifts if you will, that aren't really in anyone's control. Except campaigns will often try to create something that isn't there, or hide something that is.
Obama's campaign lets him be Obama. McCain's campaign? Not so much. And I think it's something people are picking up on one level or another. McCain's acts like someone who is not in control and has a bunch of suits yelling at him at all sides the minute he gets off camera.

No, he's always said he's making the Bush cuts permanent for 95% of us, I distinctly recall him bringing this up in the Bill O'Reilly interview. I don't understand how taxing that other 5% = across-the-board increase, other that creating some trickle-down tax scenario. So explain how saving me (let's say) $500 in taxes translates to me paying more taxes.
