GF_Tavern, for me, is about a bunch of guys that grew up past that horse shit. I play mostly obscure imports, and like J-Rock. Riv likes wrestling and Rockman.exe. Kun likes the Neo-Geo community.
Now granted, not everyone in there is this mature. A lot of them are nothing but a ball of gay jokes and retarded commentary.
And you know what? We blend into that sometimes, because we don't want to be seen or bothered. Did we scare you away, FighterX? Good, because that's what we were TRYING to do. You little whiny otaku need not apply, because we don't need any of that "let's debate which version of Wipeout" is better crap in GF_Tavern. Some of us never even had the kind of ignorance many of you exhibit. As videogaming goes mainstream, you little "mainstream antichrists" make us lose our patience, fighting conformity with...opposing conformity.
