I kinda love it, but I get the feeling it's going to be really short. So, 15 bucks. Choose wisely. I'm sure you can figure out if you'd like it just by doing the trial though. Also, this game would be awesome in 2D.
Ok, it's longer than I thought it was gonna be.
From what I've read it's around 8-10 hours long if you do everything, but there are lots of repetitive fetch quests and the like. It wasn't online yesterday when it should've been so I haven't had a chance to play it yet. I'll do so when I get home. Anyone have any thoughts one way or the other?
The fetch quests are fine because the combat is a lot of fun, and the dialogue/voice acting is fantastic. Pretty much everything the kotaku review said, I agree with.
I tried the demo and it had production value out the wazoo! Love the animated intro, the visuals, the character portraits, the voice acting...too bad the actual game part is so damn boring. It somehow becomes okay for a loot-quest to be "spam A and X mindlessly for the win," just because its pretty to look at? Or does it get better later on?
