This is not a FPS, at least I don't really classify it as such even though you CAN shoot in first person. More like a FP platformer.

This will be included in a superior version on PC. Dice knows where its bread is buttered. I'm glad I'm waiting till Janurary to pick this up. Its shitty that this DLC is going to cost money. What happened to the awesome Dice that gave away Battlefield :Bad Company DLC for free ?

Still, that's been the trend recently.
The console dudes tend to match the lowest possible price for the content, regardless of platform. It doesn't make sense for EA to release the maps for free on PC while charging for the console versions, especially considering that the PC port launches before these maps are released.
PC users, spoilt by Valve and mod teams, tend to not be too thrilled with paid DLC. Incidentally, the EA-published PC version of Mass Effect included the DLC for free.
