NY/NJ Laser Tag Get-Together

So I fucking love laser tag. Let's do a laser tag get together sometime in the next month or two. If enough people want in we could even do a private party.

There are a couple of places I know about, Laser Kingdom in Farmingdale on Long Island is a pain to get to but it looks sweet. I've never played there, so if anyone has please give me some feedback. I hope to go test it out this week.

They don't have a website. I've played there a few times and it's decent. The arena is highly reminiscent of a Gears of War map, the vests and phasers all worked properly, and it entertained us solidly for a good few hours. The big minus was that the bases (of which there are 3, for up to 3 teams) seemed to be neutral. Any team could destroy any base, and it was very easy to do. There's also no fog or mirrors or second level/multilevel field, but for what it is it's damn sweet. Also, it's a bit small if a lot of people want to come, but for 10-14 it's a great size. Lots of windows, small banks of potted plants, corridors and nooks to hide in. They also give a super comprehensive rundown of the stats, with k:d ratio, and pretty much anything you could find in CoD4

True story, in the "briefing," they instructed us not to curb stomp anyone.

I'm not sure about places in NYC, I know they exist but I've never been.
Help me out and let's plan some goddamn fun. It would be so much more awesome to get a bunch of people in their twenties playing instead of having the arena half-filled with ten-and-unders.

If this happens, we can plan a paintball get-together later.

Laser Kingdom in Farmingdale sounds cool. Besides, I live less than 10 minutes from there.

The last several times I've played laser tag there was a small group of hardxcore players who do this dance while they play. The gyrate their hips, bend their knees up and down, kind of twirl. It kind of looks like they are humping air. And they do it so you can't hit any of their sensors. It's... Fucking super gay.
