I would be surprised but StriderKyo's notorious for playing Sega stuff late.
And since you guys know i can't resist posting screenshots, here are some other quality games (minus a shitload of awesome arcade ports that have shown up or will show up soon in last/current gen compilations; most of those aren't better than the SS versions, just cheaper) not on the list in the first post -
Akumajo Dracula X: Gekka No Yasoukyoku
The Saturn's version of Symphony of the Night. The graphics suffer in the port but if you're a hardcore fan of the game, it's worth checking out for the extra levels and playable Maria.

Batsugun
Battle Garegga

Bulk Slash
For a 3d Saturn game, this arcade-y mech shooter has held up surprisingly well in graphics and gameplay.

Burning Rangers
There are generally two types of gamers: 1) those who think BR's graphics and frame rate are horrible, and thus can't play the game, and 2) those who think BR's graphics and frame rate are horrible but can deal with the issues and enjoy it's unique fire-fighting/platform/flying gameplay. I'm in category #2.

Cotton Boomerang
Probably too cutesy for StriderKyo's tastes but it's a fine shooter.

Digital Pinball: Necronomicon
Many people will tell you this is the best video pinball game ever. I don't agree as I prefer the Naxat TG16 ones but it is still one of the best. It also has music by John Petrucci of Dream Theater fame if that's a plus or minus for you.

Dungeons & Dragons Collection
If you don't like Capcom arcade beat 'em ups, you probably hate the genre.

Fantasy Zone
The only direct home port of the arcade game until Sega finally gets around to re-releasing it. Since I recall StriderKyo actually liking the old Tengen abomination, I imagine he'll like the real thing more.

Guardian Force
Success seems to only get remembered for their Cotton series of shooters but this is an excellent "rotate the turret" type one despite the generic name.

Hyper Duel
Tecnosoft goodness.
Keio Flying Squadron 2 (Keio Yugekitai in Japan)
A sequel to the Sega CD game. This one's a mix of platforming and shooter levels. I think I prefer the original but this is worth playing.

Last Bronx
Another Sega arcade fighting port. It doesn't have VF's depth but I like it more than Fighting Vipers. The vicious beat down with the 2x4 makes it still satisfying to play.

Panzer Dragoon Saga (Azel: Panzer Dragoon RPG in Japan)
Still one of the best RPGs ever due to its amazing universe and addictive battle system. I bet StriderKyo's probably worried that it's an overhyped Sega RPG like Skies of Arcadia but rest assured, it's nothing like that tedious, unoriginal game. The domestic PDS is obviously expensive but I imagine the Japanese version is cheaper, and the route to go if you know Japanese. I replayed PDS last year and the only thing that bothered me was that it's too easy.

Prikura Daisakusen

Saturn Bomberman

Sengoku Blade
Kick ass Psikyo shooter. It might a little embarrassing bringing the box up to the counter, though, given one of the characters on the cover makes Dolly Parton look flat.

Shining Force III

Shinobi Legions (Shin Shinobi Den in Japan)
It's like the Genesis games except with digitized graphics and live action cinemas. There's no defending the FMV but the gameplay and music are great (it beats playing the PS2 Shinobis). The controls aren't as tight as Shinobi III but at least they made the block move more useful.

Shinrei Jusatsushi Taromaru
Okay, so it's not worth the $200+ it sells for but if you get a chance to play it, it's a quality action game in the vein of Mystic Defender.

Soukyugurentai
I haven't played the PS1 version to compare.
Three Dirty Dwarves
The bonafide, best beat 'em up to ever come out of Hungary. Okay, so it's probably the only one, and it's not in the same league as the best Japanese-made ones, but I like it.

Virtua Cop 1 and 2
I haven't played VC2 on DC but if you're a gun game fan these are worth picking up for cheap.

The Saturn's such an awesome console. I do like the Genesis more because of the original platformer selection and I would rank the Playstation slightly above it, too, but it's hard to complain about the Saturn. I have been playing Street Fighter Zero 3 lately. The pad is perfect for fighting games.
I need to give Dragon Force another try. I own it but haven't played much of it. I would like to see how Powerslave and Lunacy have aged, too. I haven't played them since they first came out.
