Why are you guys still talking about bears other than Guinness?
Because most of us realize that Guinness is the Miller Lite of stouts.
!
...explain, please. Due to my constant driving, my experience with varieties of beers and liquors sucks. The last interesting things I drank were these:

Neither of these were stouts. Hell, one wasn't beer.
Recommend me some flavourful stouts, pls.
Because by now most of us have already tried Guinness.
It's a good beer. If it's available on draft at the generic restaurant or faux-pub I go to, and nothing else interesting is, I'll definitely get it. As others have said, though, there are just so many other beers out there in the same category that are more interesting.
Drunken bears are entertaining.Quote:

Went to a martini lounge instead of a typical pub last night. I never really had any of those fancy martinis since a normal martini is an ass drink and I'm not a woman. Hoever, I got a spiced pear martini off the holiday special menu and it was the shit. One of the best alcoholic mixed drinks I've ever had. The place wasn't too crowded for a friday night and they have some great happy hour specials so I will probably end up going back once in a while. I highly recommend Lola's on Fairfax in LA.
