Technically my "assignment ended" as I was a temp employee (for a year). I got a call at 5:30 today from the staffing agency lady telling me that they cut temps for budgetary reasons. I was going to quit in a month to move to DC with friends in any case, this just sort of complicates matters.
This actually coincides with my parents renting out their house in VA and needing me to come down and paint/pack/move and sell shit. So, I don't know yet, but I'll probably go to VA for a few weeks and continue my plans to move to DC at the end of next month.
Make sure you still come out Sunday and get a proper goodbye from me before you actually leave.

My health insurance company sent out a bill indicating a price 40% more than I was quoted, and it was postmarked four days before it due to be received. What the fuck are they thinking? Thankfully I enrolled through my employer's plan, which means it's a lot cheaper and taken out pre-tax. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the new policy finalized sooner.
