Timber, I am so sorry about your cat. Losing a pet is so hard, especially when the decision falls on you. I lost a foster kitten recently and was devastated, but I think only having the little guy for a few weeks made it easier. Years with a pet becomes family... I'm really sorry about your little buddy. You obviously did everything to make sure he was cared for as best as possible.

Word. We had a Siamese that was wonderful, loving, and playful. She had breathing problems, so I took her to the vet. He told me she had a lung infection and prescribed some medication. I must have asked that douche 3 times if what she had was fatal, and he said no. I paid $155 for the consultation, x-rays and medication, and the cat was dead 2 days later. I told my mom (an RN) what had happened and she told me that the cat must have had pneumonia, since it was acting like and making the same sounds people do when they're in that state. It made me so damn mad.Quote:

Sorry too, Timber, it's always hard to lose pets. I don't even take it well when they aren't mine - like when my (ex) gf lost her hamster...it just sucked.

That really sucks Timber, I've had to do the same thing. There are many other cats out there that would happily take some love too.
I've had a wonderful vacation with my family, on Monday I might be fired.
A co-worker didn't realize I had to make up a day last week and sent out a nasty email (on a shared company email)downplaying my performanceto the boss thinking I was on vacation already. Thing is, my boss sees this person as doing no wrong and that doesn't help my cause. Also, at this point I couldn't care. I've never had a office job prior to this, but this person has made work a nightmare, tried to ignore them and they just tell eveyone else you are a piece of shit and go on being a shameless self-promoter.
Saw a dude riding his bike with no hands, no helmet, and texting, in rush hour traffic, in Downtown Toronto.
