No... Can't say I've ever heard of a 2-point goalie shot.

I have several 1p "configurations".
*Primary attack is left hand 5-man right hand 3-man
*Primary defense is left hand goalie right hand 2-man

If the ball is not in control of either player's 3-man line, I go left hand goalie right hand 5-man with the ability to shift either hand right one bar should the need arise.

I never really find myself hanging on a L2-man R5-man for more than the instant it takes to make a pass or clearing shot.

Hm. Surprised to hear no one keeps a hand on the goalie. Can't tell you how many goals I've saved keeping that guy "in play".

Meh, it still has to get by both of my hands even if one of them isn't on goal. And even then, anything slower than a laser still gives time to jump back there as a last resort.

Basically, if his three man doesn't have the ball there's no excuse for the ball to reach the goal anyway.
