Played my first 7 innings this morning and while my issues with baseball video games in general still apply to the Show, this is such a well put together package in terms of presentation, atmosphere, and gameplay that no baseball video game fan should be without it.
What are your issues? You can tweak alot of the settings, etc to tailor your game to your liking. This game has amazing atmosphere.
I guess I'm just no longer a much of a fan of sports games, but this is a fine game in any respect, maybe I'll come around. My interest just tends to fade in the middle of playing these games. There have been some quality sports games, however, with the last two EA NHL games, APF2K8, the underrated Wii version of PES, and the PS3 Show games, which may very well take the cake.
I have the same problem. There is too much investment required to enjoy recent sports games.
I can understand MLB, but NHL 09 is super easy to get into. You don't really need to learn much other than a few moves (deke optional) and still have success.Quote:
