While Lost Planet was only decent, the fact that a major player like Capcom is including PC and 360 cross-platform play in its expansion is a good sign. Please remember this for Bionic Commando, Street Fighter IV, etc., Capcom.

I was considering picking this up since it'll be released for $30. However, I read that it won't recognize saves from the original version, so I think I'm going to pass. The cross-platforming is nice, though.
Keep in mind also that Xbox 360 and PC players can play against each other using paid, Xbox Live gold accounts. Non-paying PC gamers will still be able to play online, but they'll only face other PCs.
While i applaud Capcom for doing it, who on the PC pays for online connectivity besides MMO whoares?
You're not paying for anything extra if you already have an XBL tag, at least.
I believe so. You use the same Live tag, so the achievement points for PC games count toward your overall gamerscore.
There will never be cross platform play between 360 and PS3.
Cross Platform play with Live doesn't exist. If I have to pay for a live account to do it, it is irrelevant to any PC-only gamer.
