I was surprised that I didn't see an official thread for the Spectacular Spider-Man series. I have to say that I'm really impressed with the show so far. It's animated very well and there were some incredible action sequences. The voice-acting is pretty good too (the kid playing Parker/Spider-Man is perfect). I was pleasantly surprised that the "Big Man" hinted throughout the show turned out not be Kingpin, but Tombstone. Any other fans of the show?
There was some talk about it in one of the other threads, haven't seen the show yet, but the character design is really nice.
is this the MTV version that came out a few years back? if not what channel and time?

I'm totally digging it. I love the designs, even if Peter looks like Scott Pilgrim.
I really, really love it when an animation studio redefines the character in a universe and shakes up the tone of a franchise for an animated series (The Batman is really terrific). I don't really have much time in the morning to watch cartoons anymore, but this makes me want to clear my schedule so I can.
I'm enjoying it too, but Bendis really should get a co-writer credit. This is pretty much a simplified Ultimate Spider-Man. It's a lot of fun, though, and I'm really surprised how well it's coming along. I watched the first episode out of curiosity, I wasn't actually expecting to enjoy it.

I HATE the eyes in this series. Everything else was fine.
I need to set the DVR to record this, I wanna see it. I've seen the toys for it at work for some time now, but never really paid much attention to it. I'm a huge fan of the mid 90's cartoon, so I hope this one is sweet too!
