Where did the Miku model come from? Fanmade, or something else?
Honestly I don't know where it originated from - it WAS a port, but I'm not sure if it was a high def remake of the mikumikudance one, or if it was from some fan game, sorry Shidoshi. However, I CAN point you in the direction of the model, as it's used in both GMod and as an Alex Vance replacement for HL2.
I am very impressed MrWhitefolks; I would like to see some more of your work with Heather. I tried looking for "Scenester Heather" and "Underwear Heather" versions but I couldn’t find them. I’m also working on a story with featuring Heather as a reoccurring character. So some new pictures would be a big help. I would be more than willing to promote you and your work.
Wow that last picture is better than all three movies. :tu:
so uhh how do I make these? Id like to do some Silent Hill ones myself
1)You need STEAM
2)You need at the very least a copy of HL2
3)You need to purchase the mod called Garry's Mod (runs about 9.99)
4)Facepunch and GarrysMod.org will be where you'll find the walkthroughs, models, props, and everything else you need to get started.
Note: The more Valve based Steam titles you have, the more things you can use in GMod. The different episodes of HL2 add functionality and more props/options to the engine, while having TF2 or Portals unlocks every asset in the respective titles for use. Certain downloadable maps or props need certain games to work properly, but it will be stated in the readme file that accompanies each major release.
sweet thanks, I can totally use that Information
