Got bored and decided to edit one of my older shots (actually one of my very first shots done in GMod):

Here's a test of a stereoscopic image created in GMod, where I attempted to create multiple layers of pseudo-depth in the image. While there were some small missteps, for the most part this worked out great for a proof of concept; and it's really neat to see the differences in distance between the characters/objects.

For the uninitiated, you'll need to cross your eyes so both images overlap in the center, wherein the pseudo-depth will hopefully come into play.
UPDATE:
Here's another one, this time using GMod's built in option for Depth of Field, interesting results indeed.

I like that you're finding a creative outlet in this stuff.
Have you considered trying to actually do some poly modeling on your own? "Get into the game", so to speak?
since I don't really know how to use simg and Josh seems to be calling for it, does the image have to be uploaded to the interwebs or can I do it from my computer as well?
...uh...
um...the img and simg functions work for any LINK to a picture ONLINE, be it a link from another site or a picture you uploaded to TNL
good lord
