The last time I played Shenmue was the week of 9/11. I was depressed and Shenmue helped pull me out of it. I thought to myself "I can stop playing Shenmue at any time but those people can't stop being dead".

That's actually about the same time I got into Shenmue, too. I had a lot of other bad shit going on in my life at the time, and this game cheered me up through it all. Maybe that explains my irrationally intense love for it.

I hope this comes true.

I enjoyed Shenmue 1 and 2, and I'd definitely buy them if they were released on the Wii.
