Finally uploaded my Gate of Thunder insert.

Yes, the pic looks like shit, I know. I had to snap a shot of it and then upload. It's also a test print (to see if the jewel case dimensions are correct), so it's printed on regular paper. I'll print the final one on special glossier paper later.

I made it with a decent program called Neato. I'm new to making custom stuff and don't have photoshop (yet), so please don't laugh.

Props to Ghostwalker and his awesome site Starbase 299 for the pics and logos.

Are you referring to the picture or the actual final printout? I ran out of tray liners so I'll have to scoot on over to Office Max later and pick up some refills.

I tried taking pics from different angles, but after resizing and cropping it (the actual save was 1meg) I had to sacrifice resolution. Neato is cool, but doesn't offer much in the way of reducing without great resolution loss.

My Gate of Thunder 3-in-1 disc didn't come with a manual or cover or anything, so I was bored one day and made one...

I know it's not the best-quality thing, but cutting out the title logo from the original GoT cover was a pain in the fooking ass (the "R" and the "F" are a little messed up). I also have no idea exactly how big a CD cover is, so I measured one with a ruler and put in the dimentions into Photoshop. I can't even print this out since I'm lacking a color cartridge right now. I'm pretty proud of it, anyway, since I'm not very good at graphic design (the slant in the "3-in-1" is slightly off from the slant of the title lettering). A background to all that stuff would definitely be cool, but I wasn't sure what to use, so I left it blank.

What exactly are the dimensions of a CD cover and the tray insert (including the little spine tabs)?

I may be able to make you a cover for your copy. Let me see what I can come up with.

Neato provides blank templates that are essentially pre cut to what you need (covers, labels, inserts, etc). I found out when I did the test print that the default dimensions were exact so I don't have to set them myself. I don't know how to set them manually yet.

Omega, where'd you get that Super CD-Rom2 logo? I've been looking all over for one.

...now how about those Dungeon Explorer impressions;) :p

I put "turbografx 16 logo" in Google, and found it here, about 3/4 of the way down. Very very nice quality, too. If you can't work with the EPS format, I could make you a GIF and send it to you.
