Vegas does suck. I don't get it.

Vegas turns to suck after one day. Maybe even one hour.

It's just sensory overload. Outside is burning hot, inside is pumped with so much perfume the air is just gross. It's really fun for a weekend, but I am always so ready to leave after 2 or 3 days. Then I go home and sleep for a day.

here's good 8 day Vegas itinerary:

• Day 1: arrive. eat, drink, be merry.

• Day 2: rent car, drive to Zion National Park

• Day 3: hike, have mind blown by vastness, scale, and variety of terrain in Zion.

• Day 4: leave Zion going east, try to get to North Rim of Grand Canyon before sunset.

• Day 5: hike North Rim of GC, or drive to South Rim.

• Day 6: drive to South Rim of GC, take 100's of pictures of the vistas, (or if you got there night before, hike to Indian Garden from south rim, or if you're gnarly and start before sunrise hike to Phantom Ranch and back).

• Day 7: drive back to Vegas.

• Day 8: eat, drink, be merry.
