Totally missed this, but yeah, Scenario II was translated in November of 2007.

Apparently it's almost entirely done save for some editing/tweaking. Totally playable.
As an aside, it's weird seeing a fan translation running on real hardware. My desktop doesn't have SSE2, lol.

You don't have to chip it if you got balls/fast hands. And some tape.
I thought the Saturn needed some kind of special chip/board to play cd-r's?
I'm not sure what's going on here. I put the tape on my balls?
IIRC:
1. Put normal Saturn game into drive
2. Put tape over thingamabobber that tells the system the lid is closed.
3. Power on and wait for gay "Sega Saturn" screen to load
4. Watch CD start to slow down
5.Make like the flash and swap that shit.
6. Enjoy!
Doing that often kind of burns out the motor I think. But yeah it definitely works.
I remember doing the swap trick back in high school. Don't forget to use satconv (or whatever the hell they use nowadays) to change the disc's region coding before you burn the disc (if the patch doesn't already do that).
Just use SSF to emulate if your computer can run it?
Patch already does it.
More detailed overview:
Unscrew your Saturn.
Tape down the switch thing that tells the lid it's closed (it's kinda sticking up off the board, iirc).
Turn it on with your burn in, with the tray open.
Listen for the laser to move from the inside area to the outside area (very audible).
Swap with a real game while it reads the outer security ring.
Listen for it to move back to the inner area.
Swap back to the CDR.
It sounds crazy, but it's easy enough. I'm sure the swap process can't be all sunshine on the motor, but I don't care much given how rarely I do it.
That's terrifying.
