Good stuff if you like Syrah.
Confirmed. A friend brought over some Young's Double Chocolate Stout today and it was delicious. Rich and smooth, with a backdrop of chocolate.
I could go for a nice dry red wine, though. I tend to drink beverages really slowly, whether they be wine or beer or coffee, and this seems to better agree with red wine, which is already around room temperature. I also like how the flavor coats the mouth and seems to linger in between sips.
Wine doesn't jive with my system, every time I tried to load Photoshop through it I got errors and it was a pain in the ass to uninstall.
Gawd why don't you fucking wine about it some more.
I like most alcoholic drinks for different reasons. They all have their ups, although I haven't experimented with wine as much as I would have liked to.
One think I like about wine, had about 4 glasses last night, and I'm up at 5:30 for my run and feel really good. Can't do that with excess beer or liquor.

Wine, if it's good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for you!
it was the Mandolin Cabernet
my dad got me a bottle of 4 vines heretic which i am so excited to try. i worked at a wine bar until last week, and was fortunate enough to try tons of small production wines that i wouldnt have had the opportunity otherwise. my 2 favorites are Orin Swift's "the Prisoner" (Zin blend) and B Cellars blend 26 (cab from several napa vyds) but those can be pricey so i dont indulge much. four vines out of paso robles remains my favorite producer, esp their old vine cuvee zin, which is great for the price.
if anyone wants to chat wine or has questions ask me! i have tried more than the average person and love to talk about it. and i know where to get a lot of hard to find stuff.
