Also, I'm blaming the fall all on editing. If it were played in chronological order, opposed to being the eXtreme-Tarantino cut, Ron Howard narration show, it would be far more chill, understandable, and unified. Where as it is, it's a jumbled, mind racing mess, jumping all over the place while attempting to focus on one character per episode. I don't like it.
Finished Episode 12, Seņoritas, last night.
Portia is officially three years older, and unofficially ten years older.
The first three episodes weren't very good. But the second Michael episode followed by the Tobias episode made me feel better.
Complaint: Not enough GOB/Buster so far
The GOB/Tony Wonder story line is fantastic! And I don't want everything to be in perfect order, some of the reveals are the best part of the show. But goddamn, am I wrong in the fact that it is far too scrambled to the point of a... to quote Buster & Gangie... hot mess.
I can respect that. I don't feel the same way, but at least it's a valid reason for not liking it. It's really just the whiny hipsters saying "It's not exactly the same as the old episodes! Michael shouldn't be acting that way! Wah!" that are annoying.Quote:
