Let's Tap 2: That Ass
I do give them credit for actually trying to do something different with the controller. It may still be dumb shit I'll never buy but it's an interesting concept.

Holy shit guys we are TRULY analog now!
I usually don't need the Kleenex box till I'm almost done tapping.
Naka's next game is about flying. Ivy the Kiwi? seemed fairly good from what I briefly played but it would be nice if this new game was something big budget. http://www.1up.com/news/grasshopper-...tease-projects
Quote:
"The game itself is an action title that takes place in the sky," he told Famitsu. "The action gameplay is what I'm focusing on the most with this project -- interactivity is the most important attraction with any sort of game, and if that doesn't evolve, then games won't be everything they can be. Sonic was all about completely taking over the land, and Nights brought that same concept into the skies. I had always thought that action games that take place in the sky are too hard for players to cope with, but then I thought up a new method for dealing with it. That's how this project got started. If I had stuck around at Sega, then I might have used this concept to make a sequel to Nights!"
Update - there's a trailer for Rodea now. I don't know if I like the character designs but it looks to have potential as a spiritual successor to NiGHTS. It's being made for Wii and 3DS.
I adored Ivy the Kiwi?, so I am looking forward to this.
It;s not so much the character design as the flat way they're interpreted in-game that bugs me.
Still, looks fun.
Neither Ivy or Let's Tap hold up well to extended play, the controls in Rodea (at least the Wii Version) sound awful.
