What's this world coming to when a man can't even recover stolen property without troubling the police any more? They should be thanking him for not wasting their time, don't they have plenty of crimes to solve where the perpetrator's identity is unknown and the victim lacks a posse? What is the Second Amendment for, if not situations like this?

I don't understand how he was found guilty of kidnapping. Kidnapping requires transporting a person from one place to another. From what I remember of the case, they never left the hotel room. That charge should have been just false imprisonment instead of kidnapping.

With the debacle that was his last trial, I'm pretty sure they would have nailed him with felony assault if they picked him up for jaywalking. His days were numbered imo.

IIRC, in Nevada it's kidnapping once you physically restrain someone.
