I hit it about 27, I still go with my single friends once in a while to humor them. It sucks.
It's the worst sober. Being DD is like punishment.
Wait until you fucks are 40 if you think 30 is bad.
I gave up on the club/bar scene pretty early (I'd say @ 27) and never missed it. You hit the point where you've done it so many times that it's unappealing. I think that point varies for everyone, but once you hit it you don't miss it.
And weight-gain becomes a real problem for desk-jobbers. Fortunately, I lift a lot at work and stand for 8-11 hours at a time, so it's not terrible for me.
I still eat/smoke/drink whatever I want without ill effects. I think I always will.
We know Matt Van Stone and we love you for it!
Good thread.
I've NEVER been into the club/bar scene. I like to go to punk rock shows... which is totally different.
And yeah... shit you did 10 years ago just doesn't fly anymore.
I'm 3.5 years from the thirties, but I've been enjoying the twenties for the most part. Very glad I've absolutely never been into the club scene. If I'm going out it's to a local bar where I can sit at the bar and get a drink and hear the people I'm talking to. I'll occasionally go out to a louder bar/club, but there is ussually some special circumstance to make that happen.
I have my grandpa's genes, so I won't be losing any hair before 80, can't be more happy about that.
Not looking forward to the drinking handicaps though.
