What's wrong with Jpegs?
Nothing. In fact they capture a broader colour spectrum PNGs and GIFs can't handle. The trade-off being, of course, file size. The point here is that you don't say stupid shit like FUCK ALL JPEGs for no reason. They're used for a specific reason.
Stick to hocking out PS3 promos.
Seriously, wtf, why would you ever use pngs.
If you have photoshop just use the Save for Web option, it tones down quality but not so much that it isn't worth the size reduction of the file.
